Paul Cheuk is an Associate in the Hong Kong office. He practises in the area of corporate and commercial law, specialising in private/public offerings of debt and equity, restructurings and bank financing. Recent transactions on which Paul has worked include Hong Kong and Singapore initial public offerings, rights issues, capital restructuring, re-domicile, mergers & acquisitions and due diligence reporting.
Paul joined Appleby in May 2002. Prior to that he worked in a major Hong Kong law firm in the area of commercial litigation and spent a year studying in Japan.
Paul graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia with Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and was admitted in the state of New South Wales, Australia in 1999. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Taiwanese and conversational Japanese.
